Wait, I thought I was your Puerto Rican papi. And, that bread–did he make it with his hands or his feet ’cause his toes are a little too close for comfort. Great post. Nice read at 2:30 in the morning. Te mando millones de abrazos y como ya he dicho 88 veces: tu si estas haciendo un trabajo de Dios (y no estoy hablando del papi de la bodega k se llama Jesus, cono.).

Like Obama said, “Yes, you can!” You can be a pura chula and have a papi in each boro–or, in this case, each barrio, ghetto, nabe, hamlet, village or bread shop you visit. Abrazos.

If all us Americans could shout to the world, yes, we’re often stupid! We might start healing. The silver lining of our actions in Afghanistan, Iraq and the world financial markets to name a few may be that at least the rest of the world has proof we do not have The Answers for everyone else. A better world may grow from work like yours in Kabul and in New York, and all the millions of other connections being made through social media to the streets and to each other. Tita
